Looking to build your list with quality lead magnets? There are a lot of ways how you can build your list. Some of these need a free lead magnet and some don’t. But the most effective way I have seen and experienced is using lead magnets to boost your list building.

To build a successful online coaching business you need the right audience and building your audience starts with that first step. Yes Creating and promoting your lead magnet.

My list has grown to over 3100 over the last 12 months and it all started with just that one simple lead magnet which I promoted everywhere. If I had never promoted that simple lead magnet I might have not grown my list to this number.

Your lead magnet can be anything that adds value to your ideal clients. Your lead magnet must reach your audience at a level they are and we all have audiences that are just starting or those who are already far ahead. We need top-of-the-funnel lead magnets to attract new leads and bottom-of-the-funnel lead magnets to convert the warm leads.

Whatever is your goal, here are the 50 ideas that you can use today to create your lead magnet. I have tried to organize the ideas based on the format to give you a better understanding of each idea.


Easy Downloadable Lead Magnets

These are lead magnets that can be created as simple PDF guides and used like evergreen lead magnets. These tend to get the highest signups as it doesn’t ask for a commitment except the email address. 

 1. E-Book

        An ebook is the best-performing freebie of all time. You can compile any of your knowledge that solves your audience's problem. Anything above 4 to 5 pages including your details is great to go. Ebooks work great for a slightly warmer audience, they can be easily modified into Cheat Sheets to attract a cold audience who may not have time to read your ebook.


        2. Do-Confirm Checklist

            Checklists are a great kind of freebie as they give tangible results. This type of checklist is done to review steps that are already taken. It is like an ordinary memory checklist to make sure all steps are followed.

            3. To-Do Checklist

            You already know checklist work amazing and creating a checklist along with doing a certain task is of high value for your audience. Create checklists for any tasks that your niche does. This will include all the steps that they need to perform to complete a specific task that your checklist promises to get done. 


            4. Guides

            Give specific information in the form of a guide to do a specific task that your ideal audience is looking for. They are similar to an ebook but not necessarily an ebook.


            5. Infographics

            A tiny image that shares information with your ideal audience. They can be designed specific to a task or ebooks can be converted into attractive infographics.


            6. Downloadable PDFs

            This is simple to create but effective. People love to download PDFs of the information they consume. Create PDFs of your best posts, stories, emails, or even blog posts.

            Cheat sheets are great for you to create and for your audience to consume. This is short and crisp information that would be helpful for your ideal audience. These are just simple steps in which you can give micro information.
